    Falling apartPiece of junk. One of the "male" pieces came off and had to be superglued back on. Now all the blue partitions are falling out. Very poor quality and workmanship. This toy is only a few weeks old. Total waste of money. Don't waste yours. Spend more money on a quality product. 1Nice budget buy that works with all the name brand trains and tracksMy son loves to play with the Thomas train track at Barnes & Noble's, in particular the roundhouse. I went on a quick online search for something suitable that didn't cost an arm and a leg....I love what we found.Pros-compatible with all other brand train tracks and trains, including Thomas, IKEA, Brio, Chuggington (we've got a big hodge podge).-seamlessly connects the 5 track to the roundhouse, and also turntable if desired-uniform grooves that stop just before the edge of the roundhouse (nice alternative to doors, which the others have)-ALL trains, even Chuggington biggies, fit inside the roundhouse (it's about 10 cm).-colorfully painted and detailed windows and doors painted on-even though it's some type of composite material it's very sturdy....really looks like woodCons-non love this.... 4It's a great design at a great priceIt's a great design at a great price. Hard to find little wooden train sheds that have this many slots without them being overly expensive. My only thing is quality. The only parts that are ACTUALLY wood is the shed walls & roof. The actual base to both parts is something of a thick chip board. At least it feels that way as it is much softer, light, and (the downfall) can easily chip or break. I think I have re-attached the little pegs that connect the bases like 6-7 times in the last half year and even had to eventually put a wood glue/paste on the edges in hopes they would stop chipping. Worked so far. 4Not worth it!We purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift. He (at 5) is very into trains. This part is a good concept but it has completely fallen apart and broke within weeks of him playing with it. The end connectors break off and the layers of particle board peel away. I find pieces of it all over the place. Thankfully it wasn't very expensive. 2Great Addition to Our KidKraft Train TableThis was the perfect addition to our KidKraft train table. It houses five trains but doesn't seem to take up an enormous amount of space. Yes, we do have to sacrifice some of the "real estate" to house this thing, but my kid gets a kick out of backing the trains in so they can "sleep" :) I'm not really sure why this comes in two pieces because I can't imagine you'd use them separately but maybe there is a purpose that I'm not aware of. We've only had this for a few days, so I can't comment on longevity, but it seems sturdy and well made.As a sidenote: this garage fits smaller trains perfectly, but longer trains will stick out a bit. We have several Thomas wooden trains, and the engines without tenders seem to be what this garage is made for (like Thomas, Percy, Victor, Diesel, etc.), but Henry, James, Emily and the like all stick out. This doesn't seem to be an issue if you only have one or two of the longer trains in there, but any more than that you will have a hard time getting them all out by rolling on the track. 5You get what you paid forMy son s used train track garage is missing the 5-to-1 track so I found this on amazon. Decent price but I noticed the side was cracked the moment I opened the box. Hoping I could glue it back together but I couldnt find the chipped piece. I couldn t complain much because I knew the low price was too good to be true.Pros:- good cheap alternative- would have looked nice if it s in one piece- matches Melissa & Doug setCons- not solid wood- arrived broken.. so some assembly required.- track are too deep (>1/8 ) for some of the trains 3Don't do itI know his looks inticing. Especially with so many good reviews, but, the quality is horrible. This broke within 5 minutes of playing. This is actually the second one we purchased. Another from toys-r-us brand. We should have just bought the Thomas the train one, at this point we have spent more money and a lot of our time. I was able to super glue and if this wasn't a birthday gift and I hadn't thrown away the box I would have returned. 1Terrible quality. Broke 1st dayBought this for my 4 year old son, who already has an impressive Thomas the Train collection. On Christmas morning he opened this. By noon it had begun to break. The particle wood (or whatever weak wood it is actually called) began to peel and break at the train tracks. Then the connectors broke off. I regret buying this. We were trying to save money and not buy the official Thomas Tidmouth Sheds. His official Thomas pieces (bridge, etc) have never had this problem. It s entirely inexcusable to have comments nearly 3+ years old that cite this product s advertised materials are not matching the actual product s materials.Future buyers: your child will destroy this. If your budget allows it, go for a different product that is solid wood (even if it s 4-5x the cost of this one).Current owners: don t buy multiple sets of the same thing expecting different results (some say that that s the definition of insanity). Either complain directly to Right Track Toys or leave at this one mistake (you did your best *pats you on back*). 1Falling apart immediatelyAs other reviewers have mentioned, this is not made from solid wood and is falling apart since we got it. The male and female ends crumble apart a little bit every time my son connects them to his real wooden train track. The connections don't match that well either. The female portion is very small, making the problem worse. My son notices it too, because he points it out to me. 1
