    Good valueThe ability to draw your dungeon ahead of time and only reveal it as the players explore is GREAT. These do tend to hold a shadow of your dry erase marker, though, so be sure to erase as soon as you're done! 3Good buy. Convenient.Oh this stuff is awesome. It would be better if it came with an eraser.One inch is kinda big and I'd really like to be able to secure it down via some side attachments. But that's just gonna cost more. Good product. 4Great tilesThese tiles are like sturdy 10" square, 1/8 inch thick puzzle pieces. Dry erase marker wipes off clean with no staining. There is a 1" grid on both sides. I owned a set of Tact-tiles and was hoping to get a cheaper alternative. PROS: price (about 1/2 the price of Tact-tiles), light weight, wipes clean, fit well together. CONS: Not as rigid and sturdy as the plastic Tact-tiles. I dropped one, and it mashed the corner slightly. Since the material is chipboard I dread someone spilling liquid on them.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will update this review as the dungeon tiles get more use. 4Good in use, minor issues with cleaning/"fitment"These are great for portable pre-drawn battle maps, but cleaning has an issue. If you aren't careful you can get liquid onto the sides that will absorb into the cardboard and cause issues with fitment or coloration. Some tiles have lines that won't line up precisely as well, which is annoying. 4Great, but limited compatibility... why?!I love them overall, but I bought this pack to expand my original combo (5 10", 16 5") R4I tiles, and the puzzle piece edges are a different shape... 4Disappointed new tiles not compatible with older setI purchased the pack of 21 Dr-Erase Dungeon Tiles a couple of years ago and I use them a lot for my game. I got this product because I wanted more of the 10"x10" tiles, which I find are often more useful. I was really disappointed to find out that the new tiles are not compatible with the old ones! The grid lines are a different thickness (not a big deal) and the connectors are a different shape (big deal). The fact I cannot use them with my old tiles significantly decreases their utility for me. There was no warning that the tile connector shapes had changed. The tiles pictured here have the original connectors. 2Like the laminated battle paper matsThese are cardboard and laminated. Like the laminated battle paper mats, dry erase eventually stains the surfaces after very few uses. The puzzle connection pieces are in no way reinforced and possess less re-usability than normal puzzles as the edges split and expand.. 2... first set of these tiles and I am very pleased. Tile are solidJust got my first set of these tiles and I am very pleased. Tile are solid, fit together snugly without being too tight or too loose and come in their own box which makes transport and storage much easier than the traditional grid mat. Will certainly buy from this company again. :) 5Great investment for any D&D/Pathfinder GM!These are easily the best purchase I have made for GMing in a long time. They're more compact, easier to store and more versatile than a roll up vinyl mat, and more affordable for a comparable size.A box comes with 900 square inches of playable space, but since it's in square tiles you can align them however you need to in order to make the best use of your space. No more massive voids on your map because you have a long hallway.These also make dungeon exploration much more of a thing, because you can lay out tiles as players reveal the area. No more "Well that's a big room so we shouldn't go there yet" or "hey look, there's part of the map there, so that means there's got to be a secret door somewhere near by!" (which even if players don't say these things out loud it's very hard for them to not at least think it).I will mention:I recommend against using dry erase markers. If you do: do NOT use cheap ones. Cheap ones will leave a permanent residue in the time it takes for a -session- to be played.I definitely prefer using wet-erase markers (EXPO Vis-A-Vis is what I have), they clean up without issue, even after a couple days. They also make it a lot easier to pre-draw. You can pre-draw your map on the tiles, even on both sides, and have no worry of the map smudging before you get to that tile. 5Cool, and funCool, and fun. The lines on some might not line up perfectly, but overall way better than a full board and dry erase is what i wanted exactly.I bought the pack of nine 10" tiles. Makes a VERY diverse use, and dry erase is SOOO much easier than wet erase! Loving it, might even buy the combo pack to have some smaller 5" ones for narrower passages. Waiting for the price to drop closer to $31-$32 is nice too! Seems to fluctuate. 5
