Customer Reviews

This could last longer with a little alteration...My almost 2 year old daughter loves this toy, but I am a little disappointed with the cookie side of the case. The cookies have chocolate chips on them that are the same color as the cookie, and each cookie has a different number of chips on it (from 1-10). Under the cookies are the faces of various Sesame Street characters. I thought this was an educational toy, but I'm not sure what purpose this side of the case serves educationally. My daughter loves to see the faces of her favorite characters as she removes the cookies from the case, but an added educational activity would be for each character to also maybe have a number near it from 1 to 10 so that my daughter could match the number of chips on each cookie with the number near each character. When she gets a little older, I may take matters into my own hands and enhance this toy with a sharpie and some creativity. Like I said, the chocolate chips on each cookie are the same bright color as each cookie, so the chips on each cookie would also need to be darkened with a sharpie for that activity to be a little easier for little ones. Other wise, my almost 2 year old approves and loves carrying the case around with her and seeing her favorite characters. 4Good! We like the letters (Elmo) version betterWe bought this one and the alphabet one for restaurants and other outings where we needed a quiet but interactive toy for our 2 year old. We use the alphabet one more often because it has more options, but we kept this one as an intermediate skill set option. This one has 10 numbers and 10 discs- the discs are interchangeable so that you have 10 items you can put anywhere and not have to perfectly match the numbers. So, this one is a little bit easier than the alphabet one + you get to celebrate matching the discs. The discs and letters and numbers are all a little difficult to get out initially, but after a few weeks, my toddler caught one and can now remove them by herself.Would buy again and like that it has interchangeable discs, but like the Elmo/alphabet version better because I think our kiddo will use it longer. 4No batteries needed!I was a bit taken aback but this product. Initially I thought it had sound and atleast counted numbers with your child. I usually buy open ended toys so I m pretty okay with no batteries. When I opened it I thought my son (19 months) would be bored but surprisingly he was very entertained. The only problem like said in other reviews is the tightness of the numbers as compared to the ABC version. I also would ve preferred that the numbers went up to 20 instead of having a side dedicated to the characters. 4so I was happy to treat them to Cookie Monster's On the Go ...We've had Elmo's On the Go Letters for about a year and it has been heavily used by my children, so I was happy to treat them to Cookie Monster's On the Go Numbers. They've been playing with it all day! My older son (3.5) is a huge Cookie Monster fan and was so excited to play with this! Both my 14 month old and my 3.5 year old have an easy time getting the numbers out, and I was pleasantly surprised that my younger child can get the numbers in as well. The cookies are thinner and harder for the children to get out, so right now they need me to use this toy with them. I am trying to show them to put their fingers in the indentations. The carrying case is great -- really sturdy and easy to take along (plus you don't have to worry about the puzzle getting knocked over and making a mess). The cookies are a nice open-ended activity: you could use them to practice counting, sorting, playing memory, matching, etc. My little guys like pretending to eat them! This is really high quality and more than just a puzzle -- I highly recommend it, as do my little ones. 5Great buy!Great buy. My son is 18 months and loves sesame street, unfortunately most brick and mortar stores don't carry tons of sesame street toys anymore. This was a great find and an amazing teaching tool for counting. My son loves lifting the cookies and naming the characters. Very nice quality as well. Carrying case keeps everything together nicely. A little hard for him to get the numbers and cookies out at first, but he's getting the hang of it. 5My son loves this. He has ASD and I ...My son loves this. He has ASD and I used this as therapy. I put it away when we're not using it. I do loosen the pieces from the sockets. You have to click them in and pull them out but that secure placement is what keeps them in place. I will definitely be purchasing the alphabets case. My son is almost three, non verbal, but when we count numbers I use my pointer finger and he guides (or vice versa) to show me he knows what number I'm calling out. Or I'll tell him it's his turn to lead and as he points his finger I call out the number. He likes to play "teacher" too :) 5I bought this after my toddler loved the Elmo ABC's setI bought this after my toddler loved the Elmo ABC's set. It is a good product, but in my opinion, the second half should have been used more efficiently. The circle discs really do nothing for learning. Could have continued the numbers to 20 & it would have been way more useful in my opinion. 4Round covers are impossible for a child to remove and snap back in. I could barely do it! Elmo was great, this is not so great.I bought both this and the elmo ABC "briefcase" to help my kids learn their letters / numbers, practice matching, etc. The Elmo ABC set was an instant hit - they loved it. I was very disappointed in this one, as the little round covers that go on the right side of the case are VERY hard to remove and pop back in. The number 10 is also very tight-fitting in it's spot. I struggle with them as a grown woman and they are impossible for my kids to maneuver. We may just toss the round covers and use this for the numbers instead. We'll see how it goes over time. But, as of right now I have regrets with this purchase. 2Fun toy but sometimes confusingGreat toy for learning numbers 1-10. My 2.5 year old who is currently Cookie Monster obsessed loves it! My only complaint is that the cookies have bumps on them that are supposed to be chocolate chips and each of the ten cookies have a corresponding number of chips (so the one cookie has 1 chip, the two cookie has two chips, etc.) and this is the only way to identify the cookies is numerical order. Well, the chips can be difficult for a toddler to identify and discern from the other bumps on the cookie (see picture).Overall this is a fun toy that I would recommend to any toddler who love Sesame Street and/or Cookie Monster. 4Very difficult to remove numbers from caseAlready own the alphabet version of this which was terrific. Wanted to start with the numbers for my one and a half year-old son and not only can he not get the numbers or the cookies out neither can my husband or I. Very poor version the Of the case itself can't open without significant adult effort nor can the numbers. Defective unit which is a shame as we live the alphabet version. 2
