    VersatileMy daughter LOVES Sesame Street. When she saw it she did not want to get off and she has started to visit Elmo and the gang every night:) I do like the design and the seat pretty much stays in place. The little stool is great also. She uses it to brush her teeth as well. So it serves multiple purposes:) 5One drawback...The seat is so small it s very hard to assist a toddler with clean-up . Otherwise a good product 3Sesame street pottyMy daughter loves that Elmo and Abbey are on the seat and step stool. It is a great distraction when she sits on the seat. We have oblong toilet seats and it only fits on the back part of the seat. I wish it fit on the front part so she can get on the seat by herself. For now it works and she likes to sit on the seat. 4Good price, but slips on round toiletGreat price for a cute combo of potty seat and stool. We have only had it for a day so I can't say how well it all holds up, but it seems to be a quality product. My daughter is 22 months and starting her potty training journey. She is not interested in her small potty at all. She only wants to use the big potty, so I decided on this seat. The step stool is a bit too short for her to get on the seat alone. My biggest issue though is the fit of the seat. We have a round toilet and it doesn't fit snug enough to be secure and it slips and slides all over. This is a huge issue because it scared her when she was trying to get off and on. I definitely don't want the potty to be scary! After reading tons of reviews on tons of other potty seats I've found this is a common problem and I wasn't confident I would find a seat with a perfect fit and no slip. So, I did a little altering :) I had some leftover furniture no-slip pads and stuck them right on the bottom. They weren't making good contact so I stuck several on top of each other and it seems to have done the trick :) it's not pretty but you won't ever see it as it's under the seat. Slipping issue is fixed for the most part. 3which makes it completely awesome as far as my kid is concernedMy son loves the Sesame Street Characters. I had to duct tape sponges to the inside to make it fit securely onto our toilet seat. Without the addition of the sponges, it slid around and scared him. The stool is too short to allow a toddler to get on or off the toilet or to wash his hands, so we had to buy a separate two-step stool. But this stool has Cookie Monster on it, which makes it completely awesome as far as my kid is concerned! If your kid doesn't love Sesame Street, this might not be the best set but, if your kid is crazy for Sesame Street, then you can look past the minor flaws. 4DON'T BUY THIS FOR A BOY!!!I really don't know where to begin, I said I would use it for a long period of time before writing this. If I gross you out I apologize beforehand.As I said, don't buy this for a boy. I'm guessing it would be more useful for a girl, but I don't have a daughter so I'm writing this for parents of boys. The pee splash guard It's a soft rubber which I thought was a good idea at first but you can move and shift it as needed. I shifted his guard slightly to the right to accommodate him (lol) and the pee still manages to splash out of the guard. Because of the way the cushion is made to snap into the hard plastic, the pee can trickle down in between the cushion and the seat. You may not see it happen, but when you lift/tilt the seat off, pee comes STREAMING out. Now if you didn't think pee got in between there from last time and you tilt this thing downward, you've got old pee and new pee everywhere now. I've tried to run it through steaming hot water and bleach after every use, but that means I'll have to turn my back on him and lord knows what he'll get into. It's just been a mess. Pee everywhere. Old pee. New pee. Pee.I hope this helps keep pee off your feet. 1Good QualityWe've had this for almost two months and though we haven't used it much for its intended purpose, I must say this is great quality as the materials seem very durable. I'll admit that the whole potty training thing is intimidating, so we haven't gone at it full force. The product picture and description is accurate. My son loves the step stool and carries it all over the house so that he can reach things. The seat's cusion is plush and comfortable (I assume).Overall it's a great product but there are two things I'm not all that happy about. The seat brings a pee guard cup thingy and I can't figure out how to install it and I'm usually pretty good about installing and putting things together. Luckily it's the only thing that has to be assembled and we've used the seat without it without incident. Also, the seat also has seams all the way around where the cushiony part meets the hard plastic. I anticipate poo will get lodged in there and I'll have to dig it out. I'm sure that enough water pressure will dislodge any particles, but I'd rather not worry about this. 4Don't waste your money on this.I ordered this and sent it back in the same day - it does not fit our elongated toilets (i.e. toilets that are not round). I could just see our son falling in every time he tried to get up on it. It also has a separate 'piece' for boys - a splash guard of sorts - but it's awkward to insert and also awkward when boys are sitting on it. My son just wanted to play with it while sitting - defeating its purpose. The cushion is also pretty flimsy and the whole thing just felt pretty cheap. The stool was fine, solid and didn't move around. But not a useful potty at all. And it didn't come with a hanger either. We ended up going with the Mother's Helper step stool and toilet in one - and my son loves using that (and feels like such a big boy doing it on his own) 2Happy with purchase!My daughter had a fear of using the potty until I got this set. She was afraid of falling in. This seat is comfortable and cushiony for her baby bum. She can use the stool to put herself in the potty and to get down. Then she takes the stool to the sink to wash hands. Makes my job easier! 5Great for girls - terrible for boysMy son loves this seat. I can tell that it's cushion makes it comfortable to sit on and the handles help him feel sturdy and safe. However, the splash guard is soft so it doesn't do its job. It just folds in half in between his legs. To make matters worse, because it is three pieces - cushion, splash guard and hard plastic bottom - if the splash guard malfunctions pee gets in between the cushion and the bottom which makes for an awful clean up.I would not recommend this for little boys. However, I feel that this would probably be a great seat for girls 2
