    A little hard to match up the colors.We have done various Mosaics like this with my daughter but this has been the hardest yet. It is difficult to match up the colors with the pattern because they don't seem to match very closely everytime. All the other mosaics we have done have been easier to figure out because the colors were very different, but this one has a lot of similar colors. We have done our best to match up the colors and she likes the final product, but it can be a little frustrating because of the close colors. 4Don't throw the box away if you haven't found the jewels!First and foremost, parents, the jewels are packaged separately from the foam stickers! The jewel sheet is taped inside the box, and is probably getting thrown away if you are not careful. Second, the foam stickers are not meant to be used out to the edge; the perfectly cut, easy to separate, perfectly square stickers are "framed" by a row of NOT cut, uneven stickers that are not meant to be used. (I gave the "edge" pieces to my two year old to stick on paper while her three and five year old sisters went to town on the 4 pictures.) There are plenty of stickers of each color to complete all 4 pictures, even with some "rejects' as my girls called them. My only watch-out would be that the colors should be determined before starting, since some are quite close (like the two pinks and the purple, and the blue and green.) We sorted the colors, and put one sticker of each in the proper boxes for reference, but honestly, that was my perfectionism speaking; the girls would have been happy to just place whatever colors moved them at the time. Awesome set, highly recommend! 5NG Loves Her Christmas Present This was an inexpensive gift that has already yielded hours of fun for my four year old daughter. I gave her some initial guidance on how it works (match the colored outline of the squares on the picture with the corresponding stickers) and some occasional supervision because some of the pinks/purples are similar in color. She was able to handle this on her own for the most part. It's a great way to get her to really focus and also make something beautiful. 5My kids love Shimmer and Shine and this mosaics set is greatThis is the second time I've ordered these. My kids love Shimmer and Shine and this mosaics set is great. It is difficult sometimes to tell which sticker should be use in what space (the blue and pink look the same) but it really doesn't matter. The mosaics pieces are small and it was harder for my younger child but if I handed her the stickers, she was fine. Only thing I would advise, leave the border on the sticker sheets; if you remove, the little square stickers seem to fall off the paper. 5Okay but waste of money...my 4yr old niece was super excited when she saw this! Unfortunately she lost interest very quickly she was also disappointed when we noticed the large jewels were not included in her kit (we ended up going to a craft shop and buying jewels to glue onto the picture). The sticky mosaic pieces were difficult to remove from the backing this they ended up in a mess she did enjoy doing this craft for a bit but overall I feel like I wasted my money 4Granddaughters enjoyed itThis is a pretty nice set geared more to the younger set. There is more space between the spaces to place the stickers, so the little fingers can manage better. For older children look for the sets with less space. Those come out looking nicer. The issue we had with this set is we could not find the jewels. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to look inside the box and on the insert. Well, the gems were taped on the UNDERSIDE of the insert. The other stickers were easily visible. Not sure why, between three children and two adults, we did not look under the insert. We were happy to find them though, once told where to look. 4Ridiculously terrible quality.I bought this for my 5 year old Shimmer & Shine fan because we have several of the Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics sets and she loves them (and I admittedly, as well -- such a zen, calming activity even for a grown up!). But I was disappointed by the poor quality of this product. Many of the colored sticky pieces were not properly cut on the sheets and so were hard to separate and remove. Several of the colored papers on top of the sticky pieces actually peeled off and detached, leaving the white sticky pieces only. Also the mosaic squares were not numbered and the color chart is really hard to discern making it almost impossible to figure out what stickers should go on which blocks. 1Fun but VERY small stickersI bought this for my 6-year-old's birthday and she loved it. However, the foam stickers are much smaller than in other kits I've bought - they're smaller than a pencil eraser. This is great for fine motor skill development, but not great if you have younger kids in the house who will try to eat them or stick them all over walls and doors. They become like glitter, where it just gets everywhere and you spend days finding them in unexpected places. I would only recommend this if all the kids in your house are old enough to do arts and crafts neatly at a table. Otherwise, go with a sticker mosaic geared towards preschoolers that has bigger, fewer stickers. 5Shimmer and Shine mosaicShimmer and Shine fans! Great gift for your little ones (toddler/preschool age kids). My 4 year old daughter loves sticker mosaics/activities, and she loves Shimmer and Shine. There are not too many products for Shimmer and Shine out there, it's not a very well marketed brand/cartoon, so this one was a great find, I'm very happy with the purchase.It's a great fine motor activity too for the little hands. 5Waste of moneyWe were very disappointed to find that there are no numbers on this kit to help determine the designated colors. My 7 year old called it a "rip off" and would have nothing to do with it. My 5 year old was interested long enough to put the 15 or so jewel stickers on, but when he saw his sister doing a different numbered kit, he was finished with this one. For me it was a waste of money and I will need to be more careful about purchasing these in the future. 2
