    and both of my kids loved it (15 & 6) my 6 year old is ...We had this at our public library, and both of my kids loved it (15 & 6) my 6 year old is not one to just sit still. He's always on the move so I didn't think he'd like this game. He sits and plays this and doesn't give up when he's having trouble, he keeps thinking. There are a lot of games like this on phones and tablets, but this is so much better because they use a different part of their brain physically turning the pieces. I finally ordered one for the house and I sat and played it for an hour without realizing how much time had passed. 5Another great piece from Think Fun, one of my favoritesOne of my favorite games. Like other Think Fun, it's based on good concept, well made, self contained box so you don't lose stuff when put away. Has a variety of difficulty levels. Best of all it's under 10. Makes a great gift. Unlike the kanoodle it's only 2D spatial puzzle, yet don't underestimate especially the higher level puzzles. My kids ages 6 through 10 (not to mention the adults) have a blast. buy it without any hesitation. 5Fantastic! It's a great brain tease.For those of you wondering how to put it back together without looking at the answer key in the back, the front cover page of the booklet has a simple picture solution. I always tell my son to just use that image when he's frustrated because he can't solve the problem and he wants to put away the pieces but doesn't know how. 5Great for Spacial OrientationMy daughter's occupational therapist recommended this game to improve special orientation. My daughter loves it! The case in nice and stays closed--which seems like an obvious requirement for a game with small pieces, but we have learned to appreciate a manufacturer that can actually accomplish this! Game was purchased for my mother-in-law in a nursing home. She likes to keep her mind challenged. I sent several puzzles books a day or two before I found this game. Once she received the game, the puzzle books were put away for several weeks. The nursing home staff said she would play this game for hours and didn't like to be disturbed. She called and thanked me. Now, she plays the game and puzzles book again. 5This Small Game Packs a Big [Mental] PunchThis is a fun puzzle game that can be played at home or on the go. IQ Twist is very well made, the pieces are sturdy and the game comes in a nice case. The puzzle book is also well made, the pages are not flimsy, are made out of coated material, and are easy to turn. The controls on the gameboard are easy to read, which is necessary to set up for each puzzle. The pieces fit well into the slots.Not only is this a well made game, it promises hours of fun as well. There are 100 puzzles included in the booklet. Set up the game board according to the puzzle you are going to work on and go to it. You set the pegs in holes based on the puzzle design, then you have to make all the pieces fit on the board while making sure the piece fits on the same color pegs. This is a lot harder than it sounds - it's challenging from puzzle number 1. Twist and turn the pieces around, taking them off the board and putting them back on until you find the exact combination/placement for that puzzle. Answers are included in the back of the book to keep you from tearing your hair out, but honestly what's the hurry, just keep at it until you get the placement just right. 5Kept my teenage students off their phonesOne of my 10th grade student was finishing all his classwork early every period and wandering around the halls. I bought this for him so that he'd have some sort of challenge (or at worst, a toy to fiddle with) during class so as not to disrupt other ongoing classes from boredom.I brought this into advisory to give to him and immediately multiple other students clamored for a try. They spent the entire 45 minutes of advisory taking turns, watching each other solve different puzzles and cheering each other on. A room full of 10th graders, and no one looked at their phone for nearly an hour. It was a schoolday miracle!I immediately purchased 3 more (of other varieties) to keep in the classroom. I'm actually feeling a little jealous and may purchase another for my personal use! 5Great little gameI (in my late 30s) bought this for when I periodically deal with insomnia but don't want to get out of bed in the week hours of the morning, which might wake up my downstairs neighbors. I wanted something quiet and non-electronic, though I was worried that this might be too easy or too kid-specific. IQ Twist is definitely challenging enough for adults, too. The levels range from easy to "wizard", and even some of the mid-level ones take a while to figure out, so this fit the bill. 5
