    Perfect gift and awesome customer serviceMy 5 year son loved the kit, build his own projects with little help. Very good gift, educational as well as fun.Snap Circuit's customer service is awesome, I requested them to ship faster and without any hesitation they did, in time for nice birthday surprise. They are very responsive in emails.I wish there are multiple parts in the box such as two LED lights instead of one. 5Amazing, both sets have the same parts that don't ...We have two of these - Santa brought the beginner set and this set, the Motion. They were from different stores in different states (I bought this one from Amazon).Amazing, both sets have the same parts that don't work, like the propeller with lights - which is probably 90% of the draw right now. At this point, I would not recommend this at all, seeing as the odds of us getting a "bad batch" are phenomenally low. 1Excellent set for any child who loves motion and creativity. Very hands on and well written instruction booklet.We have other Snap Circuit sets and all of them have been a big hit in our house. My son picked this one out for "Santa" to bring. He loves science and anything to to with electricity, building and engineering. He looked at different Snap Circuits and really wanted this one because of all of the different things he can make. In his science class at school, his teacher brought in the same exact Snap Circuits for the kids to use.After he got this for Christmas, he played with it for hours. He has made so many different things that I didn't even know he could make including a big walking plastic bug of some sort. Even produced light on a airplane. Every time he plays with it he comes up with something different. It's very impressive. I highly recommend this for any child who is interested in science and building. Consider yourself lucky because the price of it now is much lower than when I bought it before Christmas. I paid over $70 two weeks before Christmas. 5FUN!I have many Snap Circuits kits as electronics is one of my favorite hobbies. This Snap Circuits: Motion is by far the best. Not only do I get to assemble circuits that are designed to look like schematics but I can also build a plane, a crawling bug and a race car. There are also gears, lights, sounds and pullys. Enough to keep anyone entertained. Highly recommended. I give it 5 stars for fun and interest. 5Don t pass these up!Santa brought this for my five year old who is always trying to make robots. He loves it! He has it out every single day. It s really user friendly and has a lot of different stuff to keep the kiddos busy. So far my son has made his own night light for his room that he insist on having. And he has done many of the projects that are listed in the book. But the night light was all him. It is so user friendly that I (mom who has no experience in electronics) can help put these projects together. Dad is able to explain circuits and stuff but we have fun just building the projects. As my son learns he teaches me. His sixth birthday is coming up and I intend to buy him other snap circuit kits because he loves this one so much! It s fun watching him bring a crawler to life and get so excited about it! Even his teenage sisters sit down and build stuff with these kits. I highly recommend them! 5Good, but not very long lasting. Limited project ideas.My son really loved this set, the only setback is that once he did all the projects, he got a bit bored with it and that did not take very long. However, I feel that it is a good introduction to electronics and now he wants to play with something more complex, which I hope we can find. He perhaps got about 6 months of play out of this set, and now takes it out very occasionally, while whining about how bored he is with it. 4... my third Snap Circuit set and my kids have loved each of themThis is my third Snap Circuit set and my kids have loved each of them, including this one. This set uses gears and pulleys, a motion detector, a lighted fan, and an air "fountain," but the thing that my kids love most is the car that they can build and move around using the switches they build. I wish the car could be used via infrared technology because the wires that connect the board to the motor is too short; but I guess the remote controlled car is another kit...Another thing I have an issue with is the storage box. I built the robotic crawler (that looks like a giant bug) and the instructions tell you that it would be best to not disassemble the crawler; however, once you build the robotic crawler, it no longer fits in its spot in the box for storage. I wish the manufacturers had made the indentation for the bug in the storage box a little wider so that the crawler can fit back in the box. Other than those minor problems, this has been a really fun edition to my collection of Snap Circuits! 4If only i could give this more stars.What is there to say about this completely awesome toy? I got it for a Christmas present for my 7 year old daughter. She is very bright so I was not concerned about her ability to follow along with instructions. I put together the crawler for her... yeah that was some work. For those who decide to purchase this.. I highly recommend looking at the final picture rather than the step by step on how to build it. The final picture was by far more useful than anything else. Once put together... my daughter took it from there. She put the plane together by herself and has so far (over the course of one weekend) built about 15 of the instructed circuits. She gets so excited each time. While several of the circuits are motion related they do have a few for sound, and lights.. so I feel this is very well rounded. This was such a success I will definitely be purchasing the snap circuit lights so that she will have even more options of what to build out. I am highly amused and appreciative that this toy really teaches kids the mechanics of all their other toys. Just wow. 5 stars and more. 5Great for a teenMy older teen couldn't put this down! He made cool project after project, while learning, unbeknownst to him, about schematics and electronics.The kit has so many projects it will keep him busy for a long, long time too. He would like to get more kits. 5Overall this is a fantastic product!My 8 year old got this for Christmas this year and absolutely loves it! She has spent HOURS playing with nothing but this. She got the Arcade set also and hasn't even opened it because she's playing with this one. The only thing that is keeping for giving this 5 starts, is the motion sensor is not working. I purchased this on Amazon Prime day back in July to give as a gift, so I'm well past my return date because it wasn't opened and used until now. Hopefully I can get in touch with the manufacture and get a replacement part. Overall this is a fantastic product! 4
