    Smeared even on approved surfacesPen smeared even when I had left it to dry for 12+ hours. I prefer vis a vis for these sorts of tasks.2So Much Better Than Dry-Erase.I used to use dry-erase for white-boarding, notes, etc. They smudge too easily, and never wipe completely clean (unless you use a cleaning spray - wtf?) Once I tried using OH pens I was sold. They write great on glass, metal, plexiglass, and most other smooth surfaces, and come in a variety of tips. They don't smudge easily, and yes you need a damp cloth to wipe them clean, but you have to do that for dry-erase too, unless you want "ghosted" notes.I have a big, clear glass desk that I write directly on to for quick notes. Can't beat it.Did I mention it's Staedtler? These guys are old-school German good. They've been making some of the best damn drafting and art tools for a very long time. Their rulers and sketch tools are top-notch.5Good quality markersPerfect for what I need! I needed a marker that wasn t dry erase and was not permanent. My husband suggested these because he used them when he was in the military. They work great. Erase well with just a squirt of the cleaner I use.5I love these pensI love these pens. I use them to write on my Erin Condren dashboards, and they clean up so easily with water. Previously I was using Sharpies, which were a pain to clean off. I would definitely recommend these fine point markers for wet-erase use.5Work great for erin Calderon snap insI got these to use on my Erin caldron snap ins and they work perfect for it5Line doesn't stay fineI got these to use at work for writing on uncoated eyeglass lenses, and writing on laminated cards. I have been using Vis-a-Vis markers and the thing I don't like about those is the tips get a bit soft and squishy after a while and I can't write a fine enough line anymore. I was hoping these wouldn't do that, but I've been using them for a while now and they have done the same thing.I do like that the ink dries pretty quickly, and I like the box they come in. So there's that.2Generally good product but these dried out quicklyGenerally love Staedtler products but these pens dried out rather quickly despite keeping them tightly capped and infrequent use. Bought in April and several were dried out by June.3Actually, I use an Elmo wannabeThe pens give a clear distinct line when writing formulas or making diagrams. I find it's better to use the fine-tip markers for writing text based notes to be taken by the students. I started using the Lumocolor pens when the most modern thing was overhead projectors; they were always excellent. They resisted accidental erasure by the brush of a hand or cuff of a shirt - yet they did erase easily with a kleenex or soft paper towel.5Thats good because toddlers have shakey handsBought for toddler laminated wipe workbooks. It writes and doesnt smear much or at all after a minute. Thats good because toddlers have shakey hands. Once dry its permanent on page unless you use water and towel to wipe off. Wipes off completely with no trace, even the red. The big down side us that when you touch the wipe rag tge ink gets on your skin and diesnt come off. Fingers look like you just dyed easter eggs after a few minutes. For this reason, this us the wrong pen for us. I would add that they are in a really nice hard plastic pen case. This is important because you dont want to mix them with other types.4Great for D&DThese are perfect to use on a role-playing battle mat. They don't smudge while playing, and they come off easily with water.5
