    Hit and missThere is some usable teaching material in the kit and we intend on using it. Quality is lacking in parts of the kit though. The finger puppets are a complete joke, are falling apart right out of the box and look absolutely nothing like any recognizable animal... the mirrors are dirty and warped... the self images are vague and confusing (when they say mouth, you have an image of the whole face)... and the touch fabrics are all the same, whether it s a furry dog , fluffy cat or wooly sheep . They used the same cheap rayon fur for each one, just different colors. I mean, for $30... I guess I can t expect too much, which is why I m giving it 3 stars. 3Effective and InexpensiveI have two grand babies, 14 months and 16 months. I gave these to their mothers and we have been using them for a few minutes everyday. At first, we though it was hopeless because they would not pay attention, but now they ask to use it. My advice keep using the kit everyday for short intervals and watch your baby grow. The Teach My Baby Learning kit gets five stars from me because it seems to be effective and is also inexpensive. 5Makes my babies do happy!I pretty much buy this for every friend's kid's birthday now. I credit it with making my child very advanced scholastically. My biggest tip is *don't let them play with it without you*! Not only will you lose all the pieces, but what makes this so effective is the one-on-one time you spend with your child with this. It's so gratifying to see how excited they get when you reach for this on the shelf! Yes, technically the materials are cheap and simple, and you could put something like this together yourself for far less from the dollar store -- but unless you've got a lot of time, creativity and motivation you probably won't, and you won't neatly package it in little sections inside an adorable briefcase that makes your kid act like an excited puppy. This is some of the best money I've ever spent on something for my kids. 5which is the end of the recommended age but she was behind her age for communication/interest ...We started this kit a month ago when my daughter was 18 months old, which is the end of the recommended age but she was behind her age for communication/interest in learning. It has been a month and she is alreafy learning words from doing this every day for 10 - 20 minutes. We started out with 7 minutes and worked our way up. I make it a big deal, "want to do teach my baby?" And I always end with a song and bubbles to keep it fun. She absolutely loves it! Will be buying more as baby shower gifts! LolShe may need the cards more than her baby. 5Great for short attention spansBeen using this with my 14 & 5 month old grandkids. My 14 month old can play with a whole section. My 5 month old like the books & mirrors. I use 1 section a week, then do a craft a day using 1 part of the section. For example, for the face section we play with the entire section for about 10 - 15 (or less) minutes. Then we craft about just hair one day, the next day we craft about eyes. There are 4 total sections, a good month of activity. If we have more than 5 items in each section, we just craft about the other the following month. I'm excited to start using it with my 2 month old grandson & my 4th grandkiddo. 5Highly recommend!My son was behind in his speech. After a few weeks I noticed he was saying the correct words for the flash cards. He is 2. I was beyond surprised and more than happy. 5Quality is not quality anymoreI have bought this kit since 2016 through a few children. The first time I had ever bought it I received a used kit, no issues send back and exchange. I received a great kit and did it with my children. Fast forward to 2019 ordered again, received another used kit....did the exchange again and noticed upon my exchange that the quality of this kit is far worse than what they produced in 2016. The texture Cards are literally all the same material and very flimsy, the mirrors are no longer on the facial recognition cards and lastly the puppets in this kit are unrecognizable...very poor quality. I m pretty upset because I actually really like these kits...however what I got wouldn t be teaching my baby anything when the puppets just look like circles. 2Excellent Gift and Learning Activity for BabiesThis was the first time I've heard of this gift and my granddaughter loved it. We spent quality time together just playing and learning everything that was in this kit. I recommended this item to every child. I also purchased the Toddler stage too. 5HIGHLY recommendI see a lot of silly complaints. I don't know why people expected to get this extravagant lesson plan for $22. We love it! My baby enjoys the special learning time when we get it out. There is a film that you take off the mirrors and then it is nice and clear, how some people didn't figure that out, I don't know. This is an activity you are in charge of and teach your baby, you do not just give them the objects to destroy, any parent should be able to figure that out. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. 5
