    Slippery and way too shinyVery glossy/shiny means that they are slippery and it can be hard for a deck to stay upright if the table has any wobble whatsoever. More importantly it means that these cards catch a ton of glare, which gives me headaches and makes it hard to read the cards without extra fidgeting. 2so slipperybackground: i'm using the protectors for both 'resistance' and the 'dc deckbuilding card game'.positives: the protectors fit perfectly both width-wise and height-wise. i feel like the cards are well protected against scrapes, sweaty hands, and rough handling.negatives: only reason why it's not a 5-star for me is because the protectors make the cards extremely slippery. when i hold the deck of cards, i have to be super conscious of how i hold them and how tightly i hold them. if i hold them the wrong way, the middle sections of the deck fly out of my hands uncontrollably. 4Perfect!These sleeve protectors are high quality, protect perfectly, are valid for tournament play, and add a bit of flair to your deck.If there is any con at all, it's that every protector has a very small silver branding sticker on it near the bottom. Distracting, but honestly not a big deal.In short, these are a cost effective way to protect all those cards you're buying on TrollandToad...er..Amazon. 5The perfect size for Pok mon cardsThe perfect size for Pok mon cards. We use multiple colors so no one accidentally mixes up their cards with others. They are great for protecting cards from small or careless players. They fit perfectly in the Ultra-Pro Deck Boxes that come in the same colors. Have not had any problems with them tearing or bending. 5Excellent, Easy-to-Use, SleevesBest sleeves I've used. They pull open on the first try, every time.The fit (for Magic: The Gathering) is tight & firm, good enough I feel confident shuffling cards in these sleeves.The textured back avoids the slipperiness I frequently find in glossy-backed sleeves, as well as reducing the static cling that sometimes makes it hard to grab just one sleeve.The only drawback I could see is the holographic logo in the lower right corner. But, for MtG at least, it doesn't seem to block any important information. 5good card protectorsI use it for MTG and they are great. These are NOT MATTE..... thank god. 5You can decorate with these too!These are fantastic card protectors and make great decor too! You see our 12 year old son had the honorary task of picking or designing this years Christmas Tree! This task is passed from child to child in our not so little family. As our son choose to use the white tree one of his sisters picked last time, that meant the saved money he could use for new decorations. The theme he picked was Pokemon Go Team Mystic, meaning a white tree decorated with Blue! We got these blue screen protectors, taped some ribbon to the inside, and then added the kids favorite pokemon cards to them and put them on the tree! It is a beautiful site I tell you! When the holidays are over, the tape with ribbon comes off easy, and these can go back to being just card protectors too! We are very happy with them! 5Good sleevesThey are your standard Ultra-Pro sleeves. No complaints for the price. No, they will not last forever, but they shuffle nice and look nice. I think out of the 2 packs I bought, I only had 1 bad sleeve and 3 extras, so it's aces in my book. I really prefer the way these shuffle compared to Dragon Shields. 5which is good, because inevitably some of yours will fail at ...My only complaint is how slippery they are until you have played with them quite a bit. It isn't a big deal in a standard game, but when you are using a 100 card commander deck there is a tendency for them to fall over. The packs usually come with a couple of extra sleeves, which is good, because inevitably some of yours will fail at the seams. 4GREAT PRODUCT!great product! i love these sleeves because they last i have purchased a lot of sleeves for my MTG cards and so far these last the longest i like the ones with the artwork on them but they split and tear too easy where these dont so i highly recommend these sure they are plain but they do the job! 5
