Customer Reviews

Ultra Pro Fit to be sureLike the name says: Ultra Pro Fit. If you want the tightest possible fit for your cards, (in my case my DotZ 2nd edition & Director's Cut), these are the sleeves. Yes you need to exercise some caution putting them on... common sense really, as to not bend your cards, but. when placed on the cards they fit perfectly. I haven't noticed any inconsistencies in the sleeve sizes across the entire pack. They ship double wrapped. Be prepared to wait a week to receive them. Now these are intended to be extra protector inner sleeves to fit inside of the std 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" sleeves (which btw are less than 1/2 the price on Amazon). They suit that purpose well. However, I been using them as the primary sleeve and they are holding up very well. I also have the standard sleeves ready and waiting if I every see any splitting starting to happen. But these sleeves are such a pleasure all by themselves that they make standard sleeves feel cumbersome and oversized. To sum up: Worth giving them a try?... YES! Use some care when putting them on?.. YES. More expensive than Ultra Pro Sleeve std sleeves?.. YES. 4Tight fit, looks good, but too tight for MTG cardsThese are very tight and slim. That is the problem. They are so tight they cause MTG cards to have a slight curve in them. It isn't to bad but definitely noticeable. I use them in conjunction with deck protectors. The most annoying part about these sleeves. Is because it causes them to have a very slight curve it creates an air pocket. So 60 cards feel like 80 until you squeeze the air out. But that is a temporary solution. In a matter of mins they are filled back with air. If you are storing these in a card book with these sleeves on them for double protection it might work just fine (due to the weight of the book being closed to keep the card flat).Long story short if you are looking for something that will fit very tight on your MTG cards this is definitely for you. As long as you don't mind a slight curve being made to your cards. The curve is very minute but it can be seen. 3Buy These Over KMCI'll make this quick:-Recently, I've noticed that KMC, the standard for the last several years, have become foggy. Clarity is a huge deal when you're sleeving the cards for collection, so if you're thinking these or KMC, get these.-These fit tighter than some. Once you put them on, they will be hard to get off, but rightfully so. You don't want dirt or water getting in there (if you double sleeve).-There is a white line on the top where the sleeve is seemed together. NBD. 5tight fit for double sleeves or albumsThese are definitely pro fit sleeves. They fit Pokemon cards perfectly with no excess on the top or sides what so ever. If you're loading your collection into an album, or one of those double sleevers while using gaming sleeves - these fit that bill. 4Cards that measure 2.5" x 3.5" will not fit properly. Sleeves came damaged.I tried to use this product for the first time to protect my ATC (Artist Trading Cards) and ACEO (Artist Card Editions and Originals) The card fit too tight to the point that they arch a little and stick out a little like 1mm. The size of the cards that I intended to fit inside the sleeves is 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches, which is the standard size for ATCs and ACEOs. Then the sleeves I received had folding creases and nick marks, plus the package was broken. I am still giving 4 stars because I suspect that is an isolated case. But be warned about the size. 4Fits Love Letter PerfectlyI bought these sleeves for the Kanai Factory Edition of the card game Love Letter. Since its gameplay relies on not knowing which cards your opponents have, it was important that the cards remain in perfectly undamaged condition. Because there are so few cards, I was concerned that they might show signs of wear, thus ruining the game. I bought these sleeves to protect them. They fit absolutely PERFECTLY. It took a bit of effort to slide them in (they had to be lined up exactly since the fit was so exact), but that's a good thing. The cards are protected, but there's no bulky plastic around any of the edges. The sleeves are very clear with no watermarks or logos, so it's like the cards aren't even sleeved. I can enjoy my game and its artwork without worrying about damage or being annoyed by flippy edges of plastic. I would absolutely get these again! 5Fits MTG cards great!I've been using hundreds if not thousands of these to protect my more valuable cards with double-sleeving. Fits great on a Magic: The Gathering card, and after fitting it, that fits great in an Ultra Pro sleeve.Used to get these on eBay for much cheaper, but the seller doesn't offer it anymore.Highly recommended for double-sleeving! 5Awesome, but shoddyI m torn on these sleeves, because on one hand, they are the only card sleeves that actually fit snugly around the card sizes they are supposed to be for. However, out of my pack of 100, I had 27 that were either too small, or too big.So while the sleeves that fit correctly are wonderful, the fact that there is apparently a 27% size variance is a little unacceptable. That means if I buy 4 packs of 100, I can expect over 100 of those sleeves not to fit, which is the same as paying for a pack of sleeves and not actually getting them. 3Great for MTGIt seems some people are a little confused on the design intent of these things. They're supposed to be snug on a playing card (MTG in this case). They're made to sleeve the card backwards (from the top down) and are then sleeved within a regular playing sleeve. The idea is that it will further protect the card from dust/dirt/liquids that might make their way into the card sleeve while protecting the otherwise exposed top edge of the card. As such, the fit is tight.Overall I liked them. It's some added piece of mind when sleeving up an expensive deck and keeps your investment sound. One thing to note is that there is some variance in the cut length of the sleeve. Ideally you want somewhat of a lip between the bottom of the sleeve and the card so there's a plastic buffer on the bottom. Some of them ended up flush on the bottom of the card but overall most allowed for this. Additionally, air pockets in the card when it's double sleeved. Put them under a text book for a few hours to flatten them out. They're somewhat time consuming to put on but well worth it. 4/5. 4Good for playing and for collectionAgain, Ultra-pro provides a great product. These are great, you can use them by themselves or with a "normal" sleeve. But note if used by themselves: they either fit the card perfectly, or are a little TOO SMALL. Be careful when you're inserting/removing a card, as they are SNUG. But it's great because it adds yet another level of protection for your cards. If you use with a "normal" sleeve, make sure to put these and the other sleeve opposite directions, so they create a near-water-tight seal. A tip to help you put them on: insert the first part on the card (~1-2 cm) into the sleeve, then put the end NOT in the sleeve on a flat, level, clean surface. Hold the sleeve on both sides with both hands' fingers (like you're reading a newspaper/menu) and SLOWLY and uniformly move the sleeve downward using your fingers toward the surface. This way you prevent bending the card and damaging one end by pushing on it with you fingers while inserting the card. This way only the surface and the sleeve touch the card, and not your hands/fingers. I've used these with Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Star Trek CCG cards.Pros: -Fits most CCGs.-Adds yet another layer of protection to your cards.-Ultra-pro product (I have yet to meet an Ultra-pro product I wasn't satisfied with).Cons: -Somewhat difficult to insert/remove cards.-Either fit perfectly, or a little too small (so needs to be used with a "normal" sleeve).-Can use by themselves, but I recommend using them as sleeve-inserts (with "normal" sleeves). 5
