    if the ink stayed on better this would be a home runThis got more summer use than anything else I own. It was a true hit. Played it in the pool and at the beach. Only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the Uno part pictured came off on one of the cards, thus you can see which card it is (yellow 3), if the ink stayed on better this would be a home run. 4Great UNO version, hard to find!This is our favorite version of Uno! It has the Splash +1 and Splash +2 cards that everyone has to pick up cards, so it makes the game a lot more strategic. You can get everyone to pick up a card or two, not just the one next to you, if someone declares UNO.The plastic cards are harder to shuffle, and the print will scratch off if you slide them across a rough table, but with a little care, these cards will far outlast the paper cards. 5Perfect for older kids with baby siblings!My 6 year old and 4 year old love playing Uno and play on a daily basis. But if ever the paper cards were left out, their teething baby sister would find them and demolish a few within minutes. These are PERFECT for that kind of situation. They're made of a flexible, sturdy plastic and so far not one has been damaged by drool or ripping. I also love that they come with a plastic storage case. ALL cards should come with a case like this one. And my girls really like the "Wild Downpour" cards that are added to this deck. These cards make everyone draw at one time while changing the color. Now it's their mission in life to find and use those cards! I've always been a fan of Uno, but now I'm an even bigger fan because of these cards! Definitely worth the money rather than buying deck after deck of paper cards. 5Be careful when ordering! Received Uno Splash instead of ...Be careful when ordering!Received Uno Splash instead of Uno H2O. Product recieved are smaller Uno cards with a hole in the top left corner as for a clip to secure them (clip not included). As well, according to the product description, Uno cards should include carrying case....no case included with Uno Splash deck. 1Perfect and portable cards that can get wet!Wow, all these years suffering through soggy, crumpled, and chewed cards (from infants, not animals) and *now* I find these? Ah well, better late than never. Got this set as a birthday present for my 4-yr-old and she digs that she can carry them around on the carabiner I bought with it (thanks to other reviews here - the included plastic clip is worthless). Take these to the pool, the beach, or just play with them at home, they have such a nice feel and look to them. And they look like they'll age much better than our sorry-looking UNO deck that has been truly loved over the years. 5Too slippery and the clip is hard to useWe bought these to take with us on our beach vacation. The cards have a hole at the top that the clip fits through to hold the deck together. This clip is very difficult to use--hard to remove and hard to reattach. These cards are VERY SLIPPERY! When you place them on top of each other (as with discarding) the cards slide off each other and over the table. They are also difficult to pick up off a flat surface. On sand is fine though b/c you can make a little well for them to sit in. We never really got them wet anyway so next time I would just take our regular Uno deck. 3Item as promised, but I am offering a few tips on itThe item is water resistant and we have used it at the beach and pool several times without major issues.I will say that the cards tend to stick together when wet. This makes it difficult to shuffle and deal and you need to really take time to pull the cards apart and make sure everyone has the right number.I like the ring feature, eps. b/c I have two small kids (2 and 5) who love open packs of cards and walk off with the cards when I am not watching. This prevents that--yah!On drawback, is that after using the cards about two times a few started to show signs of wear and the color/number rubbed off a little. But, its not the end of the world and the cards are still usable.All and all, they have worked out for us. 4More Novelty than UsfulThese were fine, but the novelty of being waterproof didn't negate some of the drawbacks. The cards are really slippery and tend to go flying when shuffled and they are smaller than "normal" UNO cards. Additionally, if you don't lay them all out to dry before putting them away, there is a mild mildewy problem. The plastic hook broke right away and we used a carabiner instead, which worked well. We like them because we love to play games, and this lets us do that outside in the summer without worrying too much about the game, but I think the idea of waterproofing the game was better in theory than practice. 3So close and yet so far...After much time trying to use these cards because they are plastic and more durable, I've gone back to buying paper Uno cards and have tossed these.The problems are many:1. The plastic carabiner is useless. As I said in my original review, just toss it, it's useless. You can get something better (other reviewers are recommending Nite-Ize products, and so would I if I felt these were worth it!)2. The holes in the car tend to deform with time. They catch when shuffling even when new, but after a bit of time and some not so heavy abuse carrying them by the aforementioned S-biner, the plastic tends to bend and deform a bit. This is just going to happen, and there's nothing you can do about it.3. Shuffling the cards. Uno and other double and triple deck games are more difficult to shuffle than a standard poker deck. That "Bicycle deck" texture that makes cards slide together without being slippery cannot be had on any Uno card deck obviously, but these cards are just slippery unless wet, in which case they kind of stick together until dry. Neither makes for great fun playing cards near the water (as the theme suggests).6. SHARP EDGES. I saw some complaints about this and dismissed them. The cards don't seem overly sharp to me... Or do they? I've managed to get myself a couple of really nasty "paper cuts" with these non-paper cards, usually when trying to shuffle them. This isn't a flaw in using plastic cards in general, because I have since played with some quality plastic cards. If you're looking for quality plastic cards, obviously these aren't them just based on the price.Stick to paper cards, unless a licensee ever comes up with something better made than this. 2Best for Public Use in a Brewery, Coffee Shop, Etc.Can't Imagine why I'd ever buy regular cards again. I own a Craft Brewery and due to beer spillage, food, etc. regular cards get destroyed pretty quickly. These... Not the case. They feel beautiful to shuffle, and keep their durable flat shape regardless of wetness, stickiness, etc. Start off pretty slippery but that helps with dealing out. Love this product. Recommend for anyone who needs cards used by the public and used on a daily basis. 5
