    Description

    • CLASSIC: Simplicity, functionality, and beautiful construction make this classic 3-player cribbage board a favorite. The natural, solid-wood board has a piano styled hinge for strength and a magnetic closure to keep the 9 metal easy-grip pegs and deck of cards stored neatly inside. The 3-track continuous board measures 12 x 3.5 x 1.5 in. and features laser engraved scoring. Includes 3 peg starting area, 120 count full-sized board, skunk lines, a peg out finish hole and game wins tracking.
    • CRIBBAGE BOARD FOR SCORING: Cribbage is a card game distinctly known for the cribbage board, or crib used for scorekeeping. It contains a series of holes known as streets, lanes, or tracks on which the score is tallied with pegs, or spilikens. Points are registered by pegging the score along the cribbage board.
    • HISTORY: The game of cribbage was invented by Sir John Suckling, an English Poet, who was a wealthy Casanova with a notorious sense of humor. His biographer said of him, the greatest gallant of his time, the greatest gamester [..] so that no shopkeeper would trust him for sixpence. He was once involved in a failed plot to save a friend who was imprisoned in the Tower of London. Cribbage remains his legacy and is enjoyed throughout the English-speaking world and is a popular pub game.

    great, basic peg board with storageI am new to the game of cribbage and my husband and I were using a pegging board app on the ipad- which got old quickly. This board is a great, simple board. I like that the scoring is continuous and that up to 3 players/teams can play instead of just 2. I also like the storage so we always have a deck of cards and a place to store the pegs. Some reviewers mentioned the magnet being too week to keep it closed- I do not find this to be the case- so far. My only complaint is that the markings on mine (start, finish, and scoring) are very faint in some areas- like they didn't get stamped on completely. This doesn't hinder usage at all as I didn't feel the markings were necessary- I almost just wish they weren't on there instead of being halfway there. Regardless, the board serves it's purpose and seems like it'll be one we can have around for years to come. 4Nice boardI have loved playing cribbage since I was a child. I used to have a board that was a single piece with a slot in the back for the pins, which always got lost!This is a great board, not too large and not too small. The pins are secure in the back slot, which is folded closed along with sliding closed. The cards that come with it are OK, but nothing great. They work until you can find a better deck.The pins are solid and the three colors just happen to be the ones we would choose.I am teaching my 7-year-old to play so that I can have someone to beat. :) Just kidding. It is a great game to teach math with, particularly easy math. It also gives you a chance to teach strategy, if you wish. I'm doing a bit of both while she is having fun. 5So nice that you couldn't expect better for an everyday board!A great cribbage board for common use, very durable. Board holes are drilled cleanly, consistently and properly. Also, the surface markings (such as points, words, etc.) are all burned into the wood to eliminate the tacky paint jobs that rub off with time, a really nice touch. The wood itself is solid, real wood and are quality cuts, no particle board or plywood here. The wood finish is spot on, just about the best I have seen in a commercially sold board. The brass piano hinge is excellent. The pegs fit nicely and solid, but do not grab the board. The included cards are of a pretty nice quality really (they are plastic coated), it's a nice touch to include decent cards over cheaper included card offerings with other boards. Like other folks have noted, the magnetic closure is not strong enough to ensure it stays closed and should be improved upon.This is a great board for years of regular use. I am thinking of getting some to donate to local senior centers and family. I don't think you would be disappointed considering the price value.As an aside, this is the exact same board that Duluth Trading sells for at least $10 more.***UPDATE***I needed to take a moment to warn those with arthritic/diabetic/injured hands about the included playing cards. As nice as those of us with young and relatively healthy hands might find these cards, and as durable as they have proven to be in play, they are quite stiff and show little ease in shuffling for older folks. The board and pegs are still more than worth the cost incurred as a result of purchase, but be forewarned that some might have trouble with the included cards and should order either a more appropriate set of cards or a shuffler to use as well. With friends who have hand trouble we would break out a more heavily used regular deck. 5easy to transport setWell made, easy to transport set. The way the cards and accessories are stored is very useful. Well worth the price, in my opinion. I have taken in traveling and enjoyed having a compact game set to pull out while on vacation. 5WE GAMES STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!This is a follow-up to my earlier review. On the first board shipped the 'skunk line' was incorrectly marked at the 95th point instead of the 90th point. After contacting WE Games, they were kind enough to send a second one (and letting me keep the first one). Unfortunately, the second board was also incorrectly marked. WE Games then asked me to ship back, and they went so far as to send over 600 boards to their manufacturer and replaced with corrected ones. In the end WE Games sent me a perfectly correct one. Let me add that, as a 50-year player, these are excellent boards with a nice storage capability. No flaws, pegs fit properly in every hole. And Finally, Mary Beth at their customer service is the best product rep I have ever dealt with since purchasing items on line (that's a lot!). THE BEST. Thanks Mary Beth! 5Nice Travel BoardGot this for my son-in-law for a portable, travel-type functional board. I liked that it has a continuous peg trail, so you don't have to remember how many times you've gone back and forth. I liked the light color just for it being easier on the eyes to count the holes and see in all types of lighting. And I very much liked that it opens up carries a full deck of cards and the pegs inside of itself. All-containing carry along, throw-in-your-suitcase cribbage! It is very plain-jane, but we figured this could be the board to take on trips, and get a nice fancy one for the home :) 5Love this board!I love this board! I bought this on a whim one day while browsing Amazon, and it's one of the best impulse purchases I've ever made. I decided it was time to replace my 15 year old cheap board for a good quality one, and this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The pegs, also, are made of excellent material, they fit perfectly in the holes, and are also easy to pick up and move without getting stuck in the holes. (This for some reason has been an issue for me with certain cribbage boards over the years.) Therefore I can offer nothing as to how the Color Coatings will wear over time. But -- the Pegs fit the board's holes well and they are highly and smoothly polished. Seller's Resolution Efforts) : ***** <== Five (5) Stars. 5Complete cribbage boardMy wife and I have two small travel cribbage boards but when playing with another couple, we continually got lost because of the direction and going the track twice. This board is very nicely made, complete with all the holes on a triple track, with good metal pegs and nice laser engraved markings so the direction and count can be easily understood by all that play. I was not looking for a card storage area but was nicely surprised by it. The cards that came with it aren't much but they are a good back-up deck. There is no closure on the storage area so the pegs are best kept in the small bag that comes with it. The pegs fit well on the holes(no slop and don't jam). The finish is just fine and our friends were impressed with the markings. The pin colors (silver, bronze and slate) are subtle in difference. I may take some nail polish to the tops to enhance the differences of color. Between the four of us, there are now four boards, this one now being our best. 5
