Odd fitI bought a medium for 6/6x sized child. I knew it'd be a little big, but the straps are way too long and droopey. My child, who lives in dressup dresses, wore it for 2 minutes before requesting help taking it off. She was itintially excited about the sparkles though. 2Comfortable and true to size!I ordered a 4T, its bit large but i didnt want to take a chance that it would be too small. I would say that these are made true to size so don't size up! Its very cute, silky like material and should be plenty comfortable for halloween. The sequins fall off a bit but not much. 5Cute, but ITCHY!!!!I Purchased this costume for my younger daughter to wear to her older sister s play. The costume is quite cute, but I can t emphasize enough how uncomfortable it is! The netting underneath feels like sandpaper and is incredibly itchy, so make sure you have a slip and a camisole tank top for your child to wear with it. The little hologram embellishments also come off fairly easy, so be prepared to have a very glittery house! It does look adorable on though. Also, her costume came in with a large hole at the neckline where the seams were not lined up when it was stitched. It was a fairly easy fix with a sewing machine, but be sure to check yours well. The straps were also quite long as others mentioned and sewn in the wrong spot but I was able to and un-stitch and reattach them in the proper spot. My daughter is seven, but tall for her age and wears a size 10 in clothing, so I ordered her a size large. It was only slightly big on her. 3The costume is adorable but the zipper in the back was crookedThe costume is adorable but the zipper in the back was crooked:( There was no time to exchange since we need this costume the next day.I wish the seller could list the sizing measurements of this costume. From the Q & A: someone bought a Medium for a 2 y/o in 2016 and someone else said Small was too small for a 5 y/o in 2014... I had to order a bigger size(Medium) just to make sure it would fit my daughter since this was a last minute request from the teacher. She is 45 inches and 34 lb. A small would've fit better on her. 4Surprised by value; she loves itPleasantly surprised with quality. I didn t expect too much but it is costume quality with a little extra glam. I ordered large so it is, but I would say it is true to size. It is a bit scratchy underneath so she may want to wear white leggings under it. 5Not what I expectedThe pictures on the reviews and the product details aren t near what they are in person. This outfit is extremely shiny. I thought the sequins would be less dramatic but I felt my 2 year old was headed out for a pageant. I ordered the outfit true to my daughters size with a little room to move in case she would wear it in the months after use for dress up. The dress came about 5 sizes too big. She s 2 in a 3t. I went by weight and got the small. This dress will fit her when she s 6 or 7. The bottom of the dress was only about 2 inches off of the ground. 1Great Costume with Surprisingly Decent Quality!Surprisingly good quality for the price. Photographs beautifully. My daughter got so many compliments, and one person even thought I'd "spent a lot of time making such a beautiful costume." It is sparkly due to the reflective silver dots on it that function as faux sequins, so some may be thrown off by that, but I found it the perfect amount of attention grabbing detail. It did run a bit large on my small frame daughter, but I simply pinned the straps in the back for a better shape and am excited that she will, most likely, still be able to wear it next year. Great costume! 5very cute but not perfect..very cute but not perfect... be warned- it's very sparkly. i love sparkly, dont get me wrong but wasnt quite expecting this much. my daughter was upset at first because it didnt look exactly like the real dorothy dress (the OG didnt have any sparkle whatsoever) but she quickly got over it. the photos didn't truly convey how sparkly the sequins are ALL over the dress. the other complaint is that the neckline is higher than expected and the sleeves are abnormally large. other than that, the dress is cute. I especially loved that it came with 2 pieces of blue ribbon for hair ties, nice touch. the material is soft and lightweight enough that my daughter didn't need to wear an undershirt. 4adorable Dorothy dress!I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this Dorothy dress. This dress far exceeded my expectations! I purchased this adorable costume for my 22 month old daughter. When I first pulled it out of the box, I said, there is no way in hell this is going to fit her". My husband exclaimed, "she is going to be a slutty Dorothy, it looks short!" Well folks we were both wrong! This dress fit her perfectly! Not too tight, not too short. The sequins give this dress just the right amount of sparkle. I also love that the bottom of the dress poofs out because of the attached fabric underneath. The zipper worked with ease. The neck was a little loose, but nothing worth whining over. Overall very pleased! I've attached a picture of my little one, we won't be wearing the bow and pink shoes with the costume don't worry! 5Wonky StrapsFor the positives, the sequins are not Vegas like I was afraid but instead just catch the light a bit and are actually quite cute. It's certainly recognizable as Dorothy. On the downside, these are the wonkiest straps I've ever seen and the way they're put together makes it very difficult to fix. The straps are HUGE but sewn at both the shoulder and the waist (button is not actually in a buttonhole). I have no idea how the pattern could have gotten so off at the manufacturer. The top/shirt isn't huge but the straps are several inches too long in both the front and the back. 3
