    Pretty cool!I like the big one, so I saw this and wanted it. I like it; it works pretty good, and is a faithful miniature of the original. I haven't had the ball hang up yet like some others have commented, but I also haven't gotten past about 2/3 of the way through. Static also hasn't been a real big problem.I keep this on my desk at work; it's good for a little distraction when I need a couple-minute's break. As someone else mentioned, it'd be nicer if it came with a stand, but for ~$7 bucks, it's pretty cool. 5obsessively entertaining.Oh my gosh, what a horridly wonderful little puzzle. it took a 1/2 an hour to figure out how to play, and now I don't want to put it down. You really have to think outside the box, and have a gentle steady hand. I purchased perplexus for my kiddo's but they have yet to get to touch it.Caveat: If you have weak eyes like me you may want to invest a little bit more and get the larger one. You have to follow a sequence and in this tiny version the numbers are a bit difficult to read at times. This makes you work, but does in NO WAY detract from the fun of this miniature ball of entertainment. 5It works just like the bigger ones do with the rare exception of ...I collect the Perplexus mazes and was thrilled to find this tiny one! It works just like the bigger ones do with the rare exception of when static builds up and the little metal ball just doesn't want to move as easily as it should. This has a quick fix of gently but firmly tapping near where the ball is to get it moving again. Not too hard or you'll be starting over! Overall very happy with this product! 5Defective/UnlucklyThe quality is good and pack with fun times.However, one of the part was glued off positionand the ball cannot pass through 62-63 when forced vertically.Quite upset but the customer service is great and refunded me immediately. 1Quality is disappointing compared with original PerplexusWe purchased the original perplexus for Christmas and it was a huge hit. It wasn't the best item for entertainment on a long car ride (think of the constant sound as the ball rolls around in it for 7 hours). We purchased the mini thinking it would be a better option for the car and would help with toy storage--it is great regarding both of those aspects. We were disappointed in the quality. We purchased 2 and 1 was broken in less than 24 hours after a much younger sibling dropped it from the table to the floor. While I recognize this toy is not made to be dropped our original has been dropped a lot and withstood the falls very well. Reordering and hoping #3 will survive longer. 3Didn t actually workThe ball is too big for one of the spaces, rendering this item completely useless. I ve added photos showing where the ball is stuck and can t get through. Very disappointed. Apparently it s not eligible for return either, even though it s within the 30 day period.... 1Small but not smoothDefinitely fun! We have this in the original size and miniature. The ball does not run nearly as smoothly in the miniature version - likely due to the nature of the materials used. That makes the puzzle nearly impossible - which may add to your fun but we found frustrating! 3ToughI have mixed feelings about this thing. It's functional and every move on mine is possible, but it feels cheaply made. Since it's too small for screws, the parts are held in place with glue, which sometimes presents an issue at corners. I think it was made by a 3D printer because a loose 'thread' of plastic is sticking out from one of the pieces. It doesn't make the game impossible but the ball can knock against it, which is bothersome. A few of the pieces lack the fine detail necessary to make the puzzle as playable as its bigger cousin. For instance, some of the grooves harshly stop and go back onto a flat surface, but the ball lacks the size to effectively roll onto the flat surface so you need to tap the globe to knock the ball onto the field. This happens on the large version but it's not nearly as bad. The outer shell of the game bends easily and there's no reason that it couldn't have been made a few millimeters thicker, like the original.And the biggest issue: The static cling is really bad. You have to tap this thing like crazy to get the ball where you want to go and there are lots of tricks you learn that feel really counter-intuitive. One of the more common-sense things is that frequently a tap to the globe will knock you off of the path, so tapping diagonally from the top down will create a moment of zero gravity where the ball can ease up onto surfaces more gently.Anyway this product is very functional but feels just a tiny bit clumsier than it should, and I'm referring to the manufacturer, not the gameplay. 4I really like this mini versionI really like this mini version. I have it sitting on my desk at work. It works pretty well and took me a while to get all the way through. As others have said, there are some flaws in the production of the stages which make a couple stages pretty difficult. The ball also seems to be affected by the static a little more too. If there weren't those few flaws, I would have given it 5 stars. Even with the flaws, it is fun to play and will keep you entertained. It doesn't come with a base but I just put a fender washer under it and it works perfect. 4Very small, too fragile and breakableThis was part of a bag of games and puzzles that I gave my greatnephew for Christmas. Within seconds of removing the wrapper it broke. He didn't shake it or drop it. He just started the ball moving in the puzzle and when it came to one of the first obstacles, a piece of it broke off, making it impossible to continue.If you're going to buy Perplexux, get one of the regular size ones. This mini one is just too fragile. 1
